周萍--新世代的當代旅美年輕藝術家，出身於世家，讓他對紙、墨等傳統媒材飽含情感，一方面他強烈地感受著自身所處的時代氛圍、另一方面對於人與人之間的情感有深刻的體會，藉由此轉化成風格特立的創作。周萍的創作總是帶著理性的畫面安排與奇幻的世界感，表達人類社會的情感狀態：互動、孤單、群體、漂移、歡樂、掙扎與渴望等…。在最新系列的創作裡，他結合人、動物的影像與山水意象，以充滿隱喻的方式呈現他對人性，生死的思考。畫面極簡，在看似簡單的塊面裡卻處處裹著紛繁的小圓點，靜謐的色調與隱密的肌理，讓觀者自己進入及體會他所表現的宏觀式劇場氛圍。
